The role involves core accounting functions such as AP, AR, financial reporting, tax compliance, cost accounting, and finance operations, with hands-on exposure to book finalization, cost control, reporting, and process improvement in a fast-paced business workplace.

Work Location: Lower Parel, Mumbai

Shift Timings: Monday to Saturday - 7:30 PM to 4:30 AM (Alternate Saturdays Working)

Roles & Responsibilities

- Handle end-to-end accounting activities, including preparation, review, and maintenance of books of accounts.
- Assist with P&L; Account preparation and analysis, including understanding revenue, expenses, profitability, and key financial movements.
- Independently handle finalization of books of accounts, including necessary adjustments, reconciliations, and closing activities.




- Perform various account reconciliations, including bank, vendor, customer, ledger, and inter company reconciliations, and resolve discrepancies.
- Prepare and monitor Aging Reports for receivables/payables and follow up on outstanding balances.
- Review accounting data and financial transactions to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with applicable accounting practices.
- Supervise and manage a team of accountants, allocate work, review deliverables, and ensure timely completion of accounting activities.
- Support MIS and financial reporting, providing accurate financial information for management review and decision-making.
- Monitor revenue, expenses, and other financial metrics to support effective financial control.
- Identify process gaps and implement improvements to enhance accounting accuracy, efficiency, and internal controls.
- Coordinate with internal teams, clients/vendors, auditors, and other stakeholders for accounting and reconciliation-related matters.
