Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant with 5–8 years of relevant experience to manage accounting operations, statutory compliances, taxation, payroll-related compliance, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate should have sound knowledge of GST, Income Tax, Labour Laws, PF, ESIC, and statutory registrations while ensuring timely compliance with applicable regulations.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain accurate books of accounts and financial records.

Prepare and review journal entries, ledgers, bank reconciliations, and monthly financial statements.

Handle GST compliance, including return filing, reconciliation, input tax credit reconciliation, and responding to notices, if any.

Prepare and assist in filing Income Tax returns, TDS returns, and ensure timely tax payments.

Manage statutory compliances related to PF, ESIC, Skilled Tax, Labour Welfare Fund, and other applicable labour laws.

Process employee registrations and maintain compliance records for PF and ESIC.

Coordinate statutory registrations, renewals, amendments, and compliance documentation.

Prepare payroll inputs and ensure compliance with applicable labour laws.

Assist during statutory audits, tax audits, and internal audits by providing required documentation.

Monitor accounts payable and receivable, vendor reconciliations, and payment processing.





Ensure timely compliance with all statutory deadlines and maintain compliance calendars.

Liaise with auditors, tax consultants, banks, and government authorities whenever required.

Support management with MIS reports, budgeting, and financial analysis.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in commerce (B.Com), Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

MBA (Finance), M.Com, or CA Inter qualification will be an added advantage.

Required Skills

Strong knowledge of GST, Income Tax, TDS, PF, ESIC, and Labour Law compliances.

Experience in statutory registrations and regulatory filings.

Good understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.

Proficiency in Tally Prime, Busy, or other accounting software.

Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.

Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and coordination abilities.

Ability to work independently and meet statutory deadlines.

Preferred Experience

5– 8 years of experience in accounting, taxation, and statutory compliance.

Experience in handling end-to-end accounting and compliance functions in a manufacturing, trading, or service organization.

Exposure to audits and coordination with government departments and consultants.
