Roles & Responsibilities

· Maintained books of accounts including journal entries, ledgers, and trial balances

· Prepared monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements

· Managed inventory accounting: stock valuation, reconciliation, slow-moving and obsolete inventory analysis

· Conducted manufacturing cost analysis and monitored production expenses

· Performed budgeting and forecasting, including comparison of actual vs budgeted costs

· Managed accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections

· Coordinated with production, purchase, and stores departments for cost control and reporting

· Handled GST / VAT / Sales Tax compliance (returns, reconciliations, and filings)

· Assisted in statutory audits, internal audits, and cost audits

· Reconciled bank statements, vendor accounts, and customer balances

· Ensured compliance with company policies and accounting standards





· Prepared MIS reports for management decision-making

Supported month-end and year-end closing activities

Education

· Bachelor’s in accounting/ Finance or another related field.
