Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET)

Join our innovative technology team as a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET), where you will combine your passion for quality engineering with cutting-edge Generative AI solutions. We are a fast-growing company committed to delivering exceptional digital products, and we are looking for an SDET with 1–4 years of experience to help us build robust, reliable, and scalable testing frameworks.

Responsibilities:

1. Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and scripts using Python and Playwright.
2. Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and data scientists to integrate testing strategies early in the software development life cycle.
3. Leverage Generative AI tools and techniques to create intelligent test data, optimize test coverage, and identify edge cases.
4. Perform end-to-end, functional, regression, performance, and load testing of web applications and APIs.
5. Analyze test results, identify defects, and work with cross-functional teams to ensure timely resolution.
6. Continuously improve CI/CD pipelines by integrating automated test suites and promoting best practices for quality assurance.
7. Monitor and report testing metrics, providing insights to stakeholders on product quality and release readiness.
8. Stay current with industry trends, emerging tools, and best practices in test automation, AI,



and quality engineering.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
2. 1–4 years of hands-on experience in test automation, preferably in web or SaaS environments.
3. Robust proficiency in Python for designing and implementing automated tests.
4. Hands-on experience with Playwright for browser automation and testing.
5. Solid understanding of software testing methodologies (unit, integration, functional, performance).
6. Knowledge of CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI) and version control systems (Git).
7. Ability to write clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
8. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail, coupled with strong communication and collaboration abilities.

Nice to Have:

1. Experience utilizing Generative AI for test data generation, defect prediction, or automation acceleration.
2. Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
3. Exposure to Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) frameworks such as Cucumber or Behave.
4. Knowledge of performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, Locust, k6).
5. ISTQB or equivalent testing certification.
6. Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
