About the RoleBeyond Mentor is looking for an experienced Senior Career Counsellor to lead the Career Journey Program. The role focuses on career counselling for Grades 10–12, psychometric assessment interpretation, personalised career planning, and domestic and international higher education guidance.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct individual career counselling sessions for students in Grades 10–12.
- Interpret psychometric assessments and develop Personalised Career Action Plans (PCAPs).
- Guide students on career pathways, subject selection, entrance exams, and higher education options.
- Support domestic and international university shortlisting, admissions planning, scholarships, SOP preparation, and interview readiness.
- Conduct parent counselling sessions and collaborate with school leadership.
- Mentor the Junior Counsellor handling Grades 8–9 and ensure counselling quality across the program.
- Maintain counselling records, track student progress,
and prepare program reports.
- Organise career awareness sessions, university interactions, and career development activities.
Eligibility Criteria
- Master's degree in Psychology, Counselling Psychology, or a related discipline.
- Relevant experience in career counselling, preferably with students in Grades 10–12.
- Experience in higher education guidance and international university admissions is required.
- Strong communication, student engagement, documentation, and mentoring skills.
- Knowledge of psychometric assessments and parent counselling is preferred.
