We are looking for an experienced SAP Transportation Management (SAP TM) with SAP EVENT MANAGEMENT Consultant Lead will own the functional design and delivery of SAP Transportation

Management and Event Management solutions. The role will lead requirement analysis, solution architecture, configuration, integration, testing, deployment and stabilization, while coordinating cross-functional teams and client stakeholders. The lead will ensure that transportation planning,

execution, visibility, settlement and exception-management processes are scalable, compliant and aligned with business outcomes.

Required Experience and Skills

-  10+ years of SAP experience with substantial hands-on experience in SAP Transportation
- Management; experience leading at least one end-to-end implementation or major
- transformation is strongly preferred.
-  Proven experience as a functional lead or workstream lead, including client-facing workshops,
- solution ownership, team coordination and delivery governance.
-  Strong knowledge of SAP S/4HANA embedded TM; experience with decentralized or external
- TM is advantageous.
-  Hands-on expertise in TM master data, transportation network, locations, routes, zones,
- resources, products and business partners.
- SAP TRANSPORTATION MANAGEMENT / EVENT MANAGEMENT
- | TM/EM Lead
-  Deep understanding of order-based and delivery-based transportation processes, freight unit
- building, freight unit management and incompatibilities.




-  Expertise in transportation planning, selection and planning profiles, conditions, optimizer
- planning, VSR optimization and manual planning.
-  Experience with freight orders, freight bookings, carrier selection, tendering, delivery and
- shipment proposals, and execution monitoring.
-  Strong knowledge of transportation charge calculation, cost distribution, carrier invoice
- integration, freight settlement and financial posting.
-  Knowledge of SAP Event Management concepts, event handlers, expected and unexpected
- events, milestones, exception handling, alerting and end-to-end tracking.
-  Experience with PPF, BRF+, output management, EDI/API/interface integration and
- integration monitoring.
-  Experience across shipper and LSP scenarios and multiple modes of transport, including road,
- ocean and air; knowledge of FTL and LTL processes.
-  Ability to prepare high-quality design documents, functional specifications, test scenarios,
- operating procedures and support documentation.

Key Responsibilities

-  Lead end-to-end SAP TM and EM workstreams across discovery, design, build, testing,
- deployment, hypercare and ongoing support.
-  Own solution design and configuration for transportation order management, planning,
- execution, charge calculation, settlement, visibility and event monitoring.
-  Facilitate workshops with business and technology stakeholders; translate requirements into
- process designs, functional specifications, configuration and delivery plans.
-  Provide functional leadership to consultants, developers and integration teams; allocate work,
- review deliverables and drive quality and timely completion.
-  Design integrations among SAP TM/EM and SAP S/4HANA or ECC modules, including SD,
- MM, FI,



EWM and related logistics solutions.
-  Lead design decisions for embedded and decentralized TM landscapes, including interfaces
- with external systems and logistics partners.
-  Drive defect triage, root-cause analysis, solution validation and resolution across functional
- and integration areas.
-  Oversee data migration, cutover, business readiness, knowledge transfer and transition to
- application support teams.
-  Partner with project leadership on estimates, risks, dependencies, status reporting, scope
- control and stakeholder communication.
-  Ensure adherence to architecture standards, clean-core principles, security, compliance,
- documentation and change-control processes.
-  Mentor team members, strengthen TM/EM capability and support presales, solutioning and
- effort estimation when required.
