Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced SAP IBP Consultant with strong hands-on expertise in SAP Integrated Business Planning (IBP), Order-Based Planning (OBP), Response & Supply, Supply Planning, and Real-Time Integration (RTI) .

The ideal candidate should have practical experience in SAP IBP configuration, planning runs, heuristics, optimization, and integration with SAP S/4HANA or SAP ECC . The candidate will be responsible for implementing, enhancing, and supporting end-to-end supply chain planning solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, configure, and implement SAP IBP Order-Based Planning (OBP) and Supply Planning solutions.
- Configure OBP planning profiles, planning runs, heuristics, and optimizer settings .
- Work on Response & Supply, deployment planning, capacity constraints, and demand prioritization .
- Configure and maintain master data, including products, locations, resources, transportation lanes, BOMs, and Production Data Structures (PDS) .
- Implement, configure, and support Real-Time Integration (RTI) between SAP IBP and SAP S/4HANA or SAP ECC .
- Configure RTI integration profiles and monitor data replication, integration jobs, and errors .
- Troubleshoot integration failures, data inconsistencies, and planning issues .
- Work on source of supply, sourcing ratios, pegging, and forecast consumption .
- Support end-to-end testing, UAT, deployment, hypercare, and production support.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to improve supply chain planning processes.

Mandatory Skills
- Strong hands-on experience in SAP Integrated Business Planning (SAP IBP) .




- Expertise in Order-Based Planning (OBP) and Response & Supply .
- Strong knowledge of SAP IBP Supply Planning, planning algorithms, heuristics, and optimization .
- Practical experience in Real-Time Integration (RTI) with SAP S/4HANA or SAP ECC .
- Experience configuring OBP planning runs, planning profiles, and optimization settings .
- Knowledge of SAP supply chain processes, master data configuration, source of supply, and pegging .
- Hands-on experience in SAP IBP implementation, enhancements, or production support .
- Strong troubleshooting skills across SAP IBP planning and integration processes .

Good-to-Have Skills
- Experience with SAP CPI-DS integration .
- Knowledge of SAP APO SNP or SAP PP/DS .
- Experience with SAP IBP Web UI and Excel-based planning views .
- Knowledge of deployment planning, product allocation, and subcontracting .
- SAP IBP certification .

Educational Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Supply Chain Management , or a related field.
- Solid analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Candidate Screening Focus Candidates must be able to demonstrate actual hands-on project experience in:
- SAP IBP OBP configuration and planning runs.
- RTI setup, monitoring, and troubleshooting .
- Integration between SAP IBP and SAP S/4HANA or SAP ECC .
- Supply planning algorithms, heuristics, and optimization .
- Master data configuration, source of supply, sourcing ratios, and pegging .

Important Screening Criteria: Prioritize candidates with hands-on implementation and configuration experience in SAP IBP OBP and RTI . Candidates with only general SAP IBP exposure or theoretical knowledge, without practical OBP and RTI experience, should not be prioritized.
