Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced

SAP BTP Developer to design, develop, secure, and deploy cloud-native applications and SaaS solutions that extend and enhance our SAP ecosystem. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in

SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), application development, enterprise integrations, application security, and hybrid cloud architecture

, with a robust focus on scalable, secure, and clean-core-compatible solutions

.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and deploy cloud-native applications and extensions on SAP BTP

.

- Build and integrate

APIs, microservices, and extensions connecting SAP and third-party enterprise systems.

- Implement

SAP Integration Suite solutions to enable secure and seamless data flow across enterprise applications.

- Develop and maintain

SAP HANA Cloud database models, stored procedures, and data services.

- Configure and deploy applications using

SAP Cloud Foundry and Kyma runtime environments, as appropriate.

- Design and implement secure application architectures

, ensuring performance, scalability, and compliance with security best practices.

- Implement

OAuth 2.0, SAP identity services, role-based authorization, and secure credential management

.

- Implement secure SAP connectivity using appropriate

SAP Integration Suite, Destinations, SAP Cloud Connector, OData, and REST API patterns.

- Design clean-core-compatible integrations using released SAP APIs and supported extension mechanisms wherever applicable.

- Design and implement hybrid SaaS solutions integrating

AWS-hosted enterprise applications with SAP BTP and SAP S/4HANA

.





- Implement multitenant subscription and provisioning capabilities where required by the selected SAP BTP deployment model.

- Support

SAP Solution Hub registration, Application Readiness Check, and technical documentation for

SAP Store publication

.

- Collaborate with functional teams, architects, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.

- Support

CI/CD pipelines, Git-based version control, DevOps practices, and automated deployment processes

.

- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across

SAP BTP applications, integrations, security configurations, and hybrid cloud landscapes

.

Required Skills & Experience

- Minimum

5–6+ years of hands-on experience in SAP BTP application development and enterprise integration.

- Strong proficiency in

SAP Cloud Application Programming Model (CAP), Node.js, and Java

.

- Experience with

SAPUI5, Fiori Elements

, and modern web development frameworks.

- Working knowledge of

SAP Integration Suite

, including

Cloud Integration (CPI), API Management, and Open Connectors

, as applicable.

- Expertise in

SAP HANA Cloud database development, data modeling, and data services.

- Practical experience with

SAP BTP Cloud Foundry and familiarity with

Kyma and containerized application deployment

.

- Strong understanding of

RESTful APIs, OData services, API security,



and enterprise integration patterns

.

- Hands-on experience implementing

OAuth 2.0, SAP identity services, role-based access control, and secure credential handling

.

- Experience with

SAP BTP Destinations, SAP Cloud Connector

, and secure connectivity between SAP and external systems.

- Understanding of

SAP clean-core principles, released APIs, and SAP S/4HANA extension and integration scenarios

.

- Experience with multitenant SaaS application development, subscription handling, and tenant provisioning

, where applicable.

- Familiarity with

AWS-based enterprise applications and hybrid cloud integration architectures

.

- Experience with

SAP Workflow Management, Business Rules, and Process Automation

.

- Knowledge of

DevOps tools, Git, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and deployment practices

.

- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a collaborative development environment.

Preferred Qualifications

- SAP BTP certification

.

- Experience with

SAP Solution Hub registration, Application Readiness Check, and technical preparation for SAP Store publication

.

- Experience integrating

SAP BTP applications with SAP S/4HANA using clean-core-compatible architectures.

- Knowledge of

SAP Build Apps, SAP Analytics Cloud, or SAP AI Business Services

.

- Familiarity with

Agile methodologies and collaborative software development practices.

- Experience with multi-cloud environments

, particularly

AWS, Azure, and GCP

.

- Understanding of

SaaS security, tenant isolation, application lifecycle management, and cloud deployment best practices
