Salesforce Sales Cloud Developer

Join our dynamic Engineering team as a Salesforce Sales Cloud Developer where you’ll design, develop, and optimize scalable Salesforce solutions that transform how we manage customer relationships and drive revenue growth. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, leverage your expertise in Apex, SOQL, and Dealer Management Systems, and help us unlock the full potential of the Salesforce platform for our global operations.

Responsibilities:

1. Design, develop, and deploy custom Salesforce Sales Cloud solutions using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and Flows.
2. Write efficient, well-structured SOQL queries and optimize existing code for performance and scalability.
3. Implement and enhance Dealer Management System (DMS) integrations to streamline sales and service processes.
4. Collaborate with product managers, architects, and business stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
5. Participate in all phases of the software development life cycle, including requirements gathering, design, coding, testing, deployment, and support.
6. Ensure adherence to Salesforce best practices, maintain code quality, and provide technical documentation.
7. Troubleshoot and resolve issues, performing root-cause analysis to ensure application stability and data integrity.
8. Stay current with Salesforce releases, new features,



and best practices, proactively recommending improvements to existing systems.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
2. 3–5 years of hands-on experience as a Salesforce Developer with a solid focus on Sales Cloud.
3. Proficiency in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Component Framework (Aura/LWC), and Salesforce configuration tools.
4. Strong command of SOQL/SOSL and experience optimizing complex queries.
5. Demonstrated experience integrating Salesforce with external systems, particularly Dealer Management Systems (DMS).
6. Solid understanding of Salesforce data model, security model, and governor limits.
7. Proven ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
8. Excellent problem-solving skills and a collaborative mindset.

Nice to Have:

1. Salesforce Platform Developer I or II certification, and Sales Cloud Consultant certification.
2. Experience with CI/CD tools (Gearset, Copado, Jenkins) and version control (Git).
3. Knowledge of REST/SOAP API integrations and middleware (MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, etc.).
4. Exposure to Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
5. Familiarity with other Salesforce clouds (Service, Marketing, Experience) or third-party AppExchange products.
