The Salesforce Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing applications on the Salesforce platform. The primary focus will be to customize Salesforce solutions and integrate them with other systems to meet the business needs of the organization. The ideal candidate will work closely with business stakeholders to analyze requirements, create technical specifications, and develop solutions while ensuring data integrity and security.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain custom applications and workflows using Salesforce technologies, including Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and Salesforce APIs.
- Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather and understand requirements, translating them into technical specifications and solutions.
- Perform unit testing and system testing to ensure the quality and functionality of applications before deployment.
- Implement data migrations and integration with external systems using tools such as MuleSoft, Informatica, or Data Loader.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Salesforce applications and integrations.
- Stay updated with Salesforce releases and features, recommending improvements and best practices to enhance system performance.
- Provide technical support and guidance to users as needed, including training on recent features and functionalities.
- Document technical processes and solutions to ensure knowledge transfer and continuity.
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Salesforce Developer with a strong understanding of the Salesforce platform.
- Proficiency in Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning Web Components.
- Experience with Salesforce APIs and integration methodologies.
- Familiarity with Salesforce security model, sharing rules, and data access mechanisms.
- Knowledge of web technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot issues efficiently.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
