Role Description The Sales and Service Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Pune City, responsible for both technical support and business development for die mold and sheet metal products. Day-to-day activities include visiting customer sites, understanding technical requirements, recommending suitable products, and providing installation and commissioning support as needed. The role involves troubleshooting product-related issues, coordinating with internal teams for service solutions, and ensuring timely resolution of customer concerns.

The engineer will prepare quotations, conduct product demonstrations, support trials, and follow up on leads to achieve sales targets. Maintaining accurate records of customer interactions, reporting market feedback,



and participating in technical training and industry events will also be part of the role.

Qualifications

- Robust technical knowledge of die mold, sheet metal, or related industrial products, with the ability to understand engineering drawings and manufacturing processes.
- Experience in field service, technical support, or application engineering, including troubleshooting and installation in industrial environments.
- Sales and customer relationship skills, including lead follow-up, negotiation, and the ability to communicate product value to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Effective communication and presentation skills, with the ability to prepare clear documentation, reports, and basic technical proposals.
- Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field is preferred; relevant industrial experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.
- Comfort working on-site at customer locations in and around Pune, with willingness to travel locally as required.
- Basic proficiency in MS Office and use of CRM or similar tools for documentation and reporting.
- Prior experience in industrial product sales or service, particularly in tooling, dies, or fabrication, is an advantage.
