About the Role:

Infallible Studio is seeking a skilled, detail-oriented, and motivated Roofing Shop Drawing Engineer / Draftsman to support its growing portfolio of roofing projects. The ideal candidate will have experience preparing accurate, coordinated, and constructionready roofing shop drawings based on architectural plans, structural drawings, project specifications, and client requirements. The candidate will collaborate closely with project managers, architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure high-quality technical documentation and smooth project execution.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare detailed roofing shop drawings for residential, commercial, and other building projects.
- Review and interpret architectural drawings, structural plans, construction documents, and project specifications.
- Develop detailed roofing drawing packages, including roof layouts, plans, elevations, sections, flashing details, and connection details.
- Prepare shop drawings for metal roofing systems, standing seam roofs, roof panels, and associated roofing components.
- Develop detailing for roof penetrations, valleys, ridges, eaves, gutters, parapets, coping, and other roofing interfaces, as required.
- Coordinate with project managers, architects, engineers, contractors, and clients to resolve technical queries and drawing-related issues.
- Incorporate design revisions, client comments, and project-specific requirements into drawing packages. • Coordinate roofing details with architectural, structural, and other relevant construction documents.
- Review drawings for accuracy, completeness, constructability, and installation requirements before submission.
- Ensure all drawings comply with applicable construction standards,



project specifications, and client requirements.
- Maintain drawing revisions, technical documentation, and supporting schedules, as required.
- Manage multiple projects while maintaining drawing quality, consistency, and submission deadlines.
- Prepare final drawing packages for client review and approval.

Required Qualifications & Technical Skills

- 1–3 years of experience in roofing shop drawings, construction detailing, or architectural drafting.
- Experience preparing technical drawings and construction documentation.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and the ability to produce accurate, detailed technical drawings.
- Knowledge of roofing systems, including metal roofing, standing seam roofing, roof panels, flashing, and related accessories.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings, structural plans, and project specifications.
- Understanding of construction detailing, dimensions, material interfaces, and installation requirements.
- Ability to prepare roof plans, elevations, sections, flashing details, and connection details.
- Familiarity with construction documentation standards and applicable building codes.
- Ability to incorporate drawing comments and revisions while maintaining accuracy and consistency.
- Knowledge of Revit or other relevant drafting software is an advantage.
