RF Performance Engineer – 5G/LTE Optimization | Remote (India) | US Working Hours

We are looking for an experienced RF Performance Engineer to support a US-based telecom network optimization project. This is a remote contract opportunity for candidates based in India who can work US business hours. The ideal candidate will have robust hands-on experience with Nokia NetAct, 5G/LTE network performance, RF optimization, KPI analysis, and command-line operations , supporting network integration and post-launch performance improvements.

Work Schedule: US Business Hours (Mandatory)

Required Skills & Experience

- Strong hands-on experience with Nokia NetAct and command-line operations (Mandatory) .
- Experience in 5G NR and LTE RF performance optimization , including post-integration performance checks.
- Strong understanding of 5G/LTE parameters, baseline configurations, and LMS parameters.
- Experience optimizing newly integrated network layers, including NR41, NR600, NR2500, L2100, and L600 .
- Experience with ENDC (E-UTRA NR Dual Connectivity) configuration and optimization.
- Strong expertise in LTE/VoLTE KPI monitoring, analysis, troubleshooting, and optimization.
- Experience identifying and resolving network performance issues, including handover failures, throughput degradation, dropped calls, and RACH/access failures.




- Experience with multi-layer cluster optimization across 4G LTE and 5G NR networks.
- Ability to analyze daily KPI reports, identify degraded sites, and implement corrective actions.
- Knowledge of RF Optimization Layer 3 analysis and radio network parameter tuning.
- Experience with network performance monitoring, trending, reporting, and troubleshooting.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment while supporting US business hours.

Desired Skills & Experience

- Experience supporting large-scale 5G NR600, NR41, L600, and Anchor projects .
- Experience generating and analyzing TrueCall plots to evaluate network coverage changes.
- Understanding of Master Node configuration and ENDC profile enablement.
- Experience with LTE/VoLTE accessibility, retainability, mobility, and throughput optimization.
- Familiarity with post-integration acceptance testing and network performance validation.
- Experience supporting US telecom operators and multi-band network deployments.

What You Will Be Doing You will support post-integration RF performance validation and optimization of LTE and 5G networks. Your responsibilities will include analyzing network KPIs, identifying performance degradation, troubleshooting network issues, and optimizing radio parameters to maintain network quality.

You will work extensively with Nokia NetAct , reviewing daily performance reports, validating newly integrated cells and layers, enabling ENDC profiles, and optimizing network performance across NR600, NR2500, L2100, and L600 deployments.

You will also perform Layer 3 analysis, evaluate coverage changes using TrueCall plots,



and implement parameter adjustments to improve network accessibility, retainability, mobility, and throughput.

Daily Responsibilities

- 35% – Monitor and analyze LTE/5G KPIs, identify degraded sites, and investigate network performance issues.
- 25% – Perform post-integration checks and optimize NR600, NR2500, L2100, and L600 network layers.
- 20% – Troubleshoot handover failures, throughput issues, dropped calls, and accessibility problems using Nokia NetAct and Layer 3 analysis.
- 10% – Validate ENDC profiles, baseline parameters, and LMS configurations.
- 10% – Generate performance reports, review TrueCall coverage plots, and coordinate optimization activities.
