: Biostatistician

Job Responsibilities

- Provide statistical input on scientific and operational aspects of the planning, designing, and reporting of clinical trials according to regulatory guidelines.
- Manage day-to-day biostatistical aspects of a clinical project.
- Estimate sample sizes for different phases of clinical trials.
- Review clinical trial documents such as protocols and Case Report Forms from a statistical perspective.
- Generate the randomization chart for assigned studies and support the operations team for treatment allocations in randomized clinical studies, ensuring proper implementation.
- Develop statistical analysis plans and statistical methods to perform analyses that represent study data.
- Conduct statistical analysis of data generated in clinical trials according to standard biostatistical methodologies. Generate summary tables, data listings, and graphs as specified in the statistical analysis plan for the preparation of the Clinical Study Report.
- Carry out cumulative and meta-analysis as required by the domain.
- Provide adequate statistical justifications for decisions/statements and support scientific strategy for "Go/No-Go" decisions.




- Offer statistical support for publications and presentations.

Qualifications

- Master’s degree in Statistics, Applied Mathematics, or a related field with 3-5 years of relevant experience in clinical research at a CRO or pharmaceutical company involved in clinical development.
- Familiarity with statistical concepts of clinical trial design and analysis of clinical study results.
- Proficiency in SAS, SPSS, GraphPad Prism, or other statistical software and programming techniques utilized in clinical research.
- Expertise in working with MS Excel and MS Office.
