Cifal Herbal is looking for an experienced R&D; Chemist to set up and lead the R&D; function at our food and herbal processing unit in Gudur, Andhra Pradesh.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish the in-house R&D; facility, including lab layout, equipment selection, instrumentation and setting up of systems and SOPs
- Develop current herbal extracts, pectin grades and food ingredient products from concept to commercial production
- Improve existing extraction and purification processes for better yield, quality and cost efficiency
- Plan and carry out lab trials, pilot batches and scale-up studies
- Coordinate with Production and QC teams for technology transfer and troubleshooting
- Maintain R&D; records, product specifications and technical documentation
- Support customer technical queries, sample development and regulatory documentation
Requirements
- B.Tech (Chemical / Biotechnology) / B.Sc or M.Sc (Chemistry)
- Around 10 years of R&D; experience in a herbal extract or pectin processing unit
- Proven ability to set up an R&D; lab and independently develop new products
- Hands-on knowledge of extraction, purification, drying and analytical methods
- Age: 3540 years
- Willing to be based at Gudur, Andhra Pradesh
