JOB TITLE: Senior Engineer – Quality / IMS / EHS

Reporting To: QA Head / Plant Head

Job Purpose

We are looking for a Senior Engineer with strong experience in IMS/QMS, EHS and Quality Systems. The candidate will be responsible for managing IMS/QMS activities, Management Reviews, audits, compliance, MIS reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives.

The role will also involve ensuring EHS compliance, coordinating applicable SEMI standards, managing certification and internal audits, and monitoring product quality throughout the product lifecycle from sales enquiry through customer warranty.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage and maintain IMS/QMS activities and ensure effective implementation of the quality management system.
- Coordinate with certification bodies and auditors for certification, surveillance, internal and system audits.
- Ensure timely closure of audit findings and compliance requirements.
- Organize and coordinate Management Review (MR) Meetings and track action items.
- Prepare, consolidate, and submit MIS reports related to quality, compliance and management reviews.
- Review, develop and upgrade IMS/QMS procedures, SOPs and process documentation based on applicable standards and business requirements.
- Monitor and ensure EHS compliance and coordinate the implementation of applicable SEMI standards.
- Monitor product quality from sales enquiry,



order review, design and manufacturing through customer warranty.
- Analyse customer complaints and warranty issues and coordinate effective corrective actions.
- Drive Root Cause Analysis (RCA), CAPA and continuous improvement initiatives based on audits, MIS, customer feedback and quality data.
- Coordinate with Sales, Engineering, Manufacturing, QA, SCM, Purchase, Service, HR and Finance teams as required.
- Monitor compliance risks and escalate major audit, EHS, customer, warranty and quality-related issues to management.

Candidate Profile

- BE/B.Tech degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Instrumentation Engineering.
- 8–10 years of experience in IMS, QMS, EHS or Quality Systems.
- Experience in manufacturing or engineering industries.
- Practical experience in ISO 9001 internal audits and certification/surveillance audits.
- Experience in Management Review Meetings, MIS reporting and audit finding closure.
- Experience in IMS/QMS procedure development and implementation.
- Knowledge of EHS compliance and applicable SEMI standards.
- Experience in CAPA, RCA, 8D, FMEA and continuous improvement.
- Experience in product quality from sales enquiry through customer warranty analysis will be an advantage.
