Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement quality assurance processes and testing strategies.
- Collaborate with software developers and product managers to define quality standards and acceptance criteria.
- Perform manual and automated testing on applications to identify defects and validate performance.
- Analyze and report on quality metrics to improve product reliability.
- Participate in design reviews and provide feedback from a quality perspective.
- Lead root cause analysis and corrective action initiatives for defects.
- Mentor junior team members and promote best practices in quality engineering.
Skills and Tools Required
- Solid understanding of software development processes and methodologies.
- Proficiency in manual and automated testing tools such as Selenium, JUnit, or similar frameworks.
- Experience with scripting or programming languages, such as Python, Java, or JavaScript.
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
