Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Control Engineer with 1-3 years of experience in civil construction. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all construction activities and materials comply with approved drawings, project specifications, quality standards, and applicable codes. The role involves site inspections, material testing, documentation, and coordination with site engineers, contractors, and consultants to maintain the required quality of work.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure construction activities comply with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
- Verify the quality of construction materials, including cement, sand, aggregates, steel, concrete, and other building materials.
- Coordinate and witness material testing, including concrete slump tests, cube sampling, sieve analysis, and other relevant tests.




- Ensure proper implementation of Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), Quality Assurance Plans (QAPs), and method statements.
- Maintain quality records, inspection reports, material test reports, concrete pour cards, and checklists.
- Identify non-conformities and coordinate with the project team to implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Ensure that materials are approved before use and that testing is carried out as per project specifications and applicable IS codes.
- Monitor workmanship and ensure compliance with safety and quality requirements at the project site.

Required Skills and Competencies

- Basic knowledge of civil construction methods, materials, and quality control procedures.
- Knowledge of concrete testing, reinforcement inspection, and construction material testing.
- Ability to prepare inspection reports, checklists, and quality documentation.

Educational Qualification and Experience

- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
- 1-3 years of relevant experience in quality control - civil construction.
- Experience in building construction, commercial projects, residential projects, or infrastructure projects is preferred.
