- Define appropriate measurement strategies for inspection requirements.
- Conduct stage inspection of machined parts as per engineering drawings and provide firstpiece approval.
- Ensure product and process characteristics are monitored and controlled during in-process manufacturing at the shop floor.
- Perform online inspection of products during the manufacturing process.
- Maintain required quality and inspection documentation.
- Analyze process rejections and identify areas for improvement and control.
- Prepare daily rejection reports and quality performance reports.
- Analyze rework and rejection issues at the shop floor, including Yellow/Red Bin analysis, and initiate CAPA.
