Applications are invited for the post of Project Technical Support III for the sponsored project funded by the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) under the Centre for Advanced Research scheme to the VIT School of Bio-Science and Technology (SBST), Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT), Vellore, T.N, India.Title of the Project:“Generation of Bacteriophages for Combating Bacterial Infections of the Skin and Musculoskeletal System.”Number of posts:01Qualification:1.Three years Graduate in relevant subject/Field + Three Years Experience or PG in relevant subject. 2. For Engineering 1st Class Four Years Graduate Degree + Three Years of Experience. (Life Science/Biological Sciences/Engineering or Technology)Desirable (if any):The candidate is required for sampling and performing phage characterization, to evaluate the stability, host range, and life cycle parameters. They will also be involved in performing morphological analysis by TEM and SEM and whole-genome analysis.

The position will work under the general supervision of the Project Director.
