Principal Consultant / Practice Lead – AI-Driven PMO Transformation

About the Role

We are looking for a seasoned consulting leader to help redefine how enterprise Project Management Offices (PMOs) operate in the age of AI.

This is a strategic, client-facing advisory role focused on transforming traditional PMOs into intelligent, outcome-driven functions. You will partner with client leadership and SMEs to challenge existing processes, redesign portfolio governance and operating models, and identify opportunities to embed AI and automation into planning, reporting, risk management and decision-making.

The role will also shape an Atlassian-first strategy using Jira, Confluence, Jira Align and Rovo, translating the vision into a practical roadmap with measurable business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead enterprise PMO/EPMO assessments and operating-model redesigns.




- Facilitate executive workshops and define future-state governance, processes and KPIs.
- Identify and drive AI-enabled use cases for automated reporting, risk insights, forecasting and intelligent project intake.
- Develop Atlassian portfolio architecture, transformation roadmaps and business cases.
- Lead pilots, demonstrate measurable value and drive enterprise-wide adoption.
- What We're Looking For
- 15+ years of consulting, transformation or delivery leadership experience, with 7+ years in PMO/EPMO transformation.
- Proven track record of leading enterprise-scale operating-model redesigns.
- Strong understanding of portfolio governance, prioritization, advantages realization and financial tracking.
- Working knowledge of Jira, Confluence, Jira Align and practical AI/automation applications.
- Excellent executive presence, stakeholder management and consulting skills.

Nice to have: Big Four or tier-one consulting experience, Atlassian Solution Partner background, and hands-on exposure to Rovo or AI-enabled portfolio solutions.
