Job Summary

We are looking for a responsible and energetic Production Supervisor to oversee daily operations in the Hammering Machine Department. The candidate will be responsible for machine operation, manpower handling, production monitoring, hourly and daily reporting, quality checks, and maintaining safety standards on the shop floor.

Key Responsibilities

- Machine Operations: Monitor and supervise hammering machine operations to ensure smooth and effective production.

- Manpower Handling: Allocate work to operators and helpers, monitor attendance, manage shift activities, and ensure optimum manpower utilization.

- Production Monitoring: Monitor hourly production targets, daily output, machine performance, and production efficiency.

- Production Reporting: Prepare and maintain hourly production reports, daily production reports, downtime records, and shift handover reports.

- Process Monitoring: Ensure production activities follow prescribed operating procedures and process parameters.

- Quality Control: Monitor product quality, identify defects, and coordinate with the Quality Department to resolve quality issues.

- Troubleshooting: Identify machine or process-related issues and coordinate with the Maintenance Department for corrective action.





- Safety Compliance: Ensure operators follow safety procedures, use appropriate PPE, and operate machines safely.

- 5S and Housekeeping: Maintain workplace cleanliness, proper material arrangement, and good housekeeping practices.

- Coordination: Coordinate with Production, Quality, and Maintenance teams to achieve production targets and minimize downtime.

Required Skills

- Basic knowledge of machine operations and production processes.

- Good manpower handling and communication skills.

- Ability to prepare hourly and daily production reports.

- Basic troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.

- Knowledge of quality, safety, and 5S practices.

- Willingness to work in shifts, if required.

Preferred Candidate Profile

- Candidates with 0–3 years of experience in production or machine operations.

- Freshers with relevant ITI or Diploma qualifications and practical machine-operation knowledge may also apply.

- Experience in metal processing, copper manufacturing, forging, or hammering machine operations will be an advantage.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹27,000.00 per month
