Role Overview

Manage daily factory production, supervise workers and maintain store inventory to ensure timely manufacturing, consistent quality and proper material utilisation.

Key Responsibilities

Production & Worker Supervision

- Plan and allocate daily work to carpenters, machine operators, helpers and other factory staff.
- Supervise cutting, edge banding, drilling, assembly, finishing and packing.
- Read approved drawings and cutting lists, and ensure production follows specified dimensions, materials and finishes.
- Coordinate with designers and installation teams to resolve production queries.
- Monitor progress and ensure orders are completed within committed timelines.
- Maintain worker attendance, discipline, productivity and housekeeping.

Store & Inventory Management

- Receive and verify boards, laminates, hardware, adhesives and other materials against purchase orders and delivery documents.
- Maintain accurate records of material receipts, issues, returns and stock balances.
- Issue materials against approved project requirements and track consumption.
- Monitor minimum stock levels and raise purchase requirements in advance.
- Conduct regular physical stock checks and report shortages,



damage or discrepancies.
- Organise storage and control material wastage, including reuse of suitable offcuts.

Quality, Maintenance & Dispatch

- Check dimensions, edge finishing, hardware fitment and assembly quality at each stage.
- Ensure completed items are checked, labelled and packed project-wise before dispatch.
- Verify dispatch quantities against approved lists and maintain records of pending items.
- Arrange routine machine maintenance and promptly report breakdowns.
- Enforce safe machine operation and use of protective equipment.
- Submit daily reports on production progress, stock requirements, wastage and delays.

Candidate Requirements

- Preferably 3–5 years of relevant experience in modular furniture manufacturing.
- Ability to read furniture drawings, measurements and cutting lists.
- Practical knowledge of panel saws, edge banding machines, furniture hardware and assembly.
- Experience in storekeeping, inventory control and material reconciliation.
- Strong worker management, coordination and problem-solving skills.
- Basic knowledge of Excel and stock registers.

Performance Expectations Timely production and dispatch, accurate inventory, consistent quality, controlled wastage and effective workforce supervision.

Pay: ₹11,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
