ABOUT US

Amba Enterprises Limited (BSE: 539196) manufactures electrical steel products for the transformer and motor industry: silicon steel (CRGO / CRNGO) slit coils, cut-to-size transformer laminations. We are a listed company growing our Pune plant, and this role is for someone who wants to build the production floor, not just run it.

THE ROLE

You will own day-to-day production at our Pune plant, from coil slitting and cut-to-length through stamping and finishing, and help us put the systems in place to scale it.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

- Plan and run daily production across slitting, cut-to-length and press/stamping lines to meet dispatch schedules
- Lead supervisors and operators: shift allocation, attendance, discipline and training
- Reduce scrap and improve yield on CRGO / CRNGO material, our biggest cost lever
- Work with Quality on dimensions, burr, coating and customer complaints, and close out root causes
- Keep machines running: preventive maintenance, die and tool upkeep, faster changeovers
- Enforce safety and 5S on the shop floor
- Track and report daily output, rejection and downtime, and drive improvements

WHAT YOU BRING

- 6–10 years in production in a press shop,



stamping, slitting, sheet-metal, or transformer / motor component manufacturing
- Hands-on knowledge of mechanical power presses, die setting, and slitting / cut-to-length lines
- Proven experience leading a shop-floor team of operators and supervisors
- Diploma or B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical, Production or Electrical Engineering (diploma holders with strong experience are welcome)
- Comfortable with production planning, MIS and ERP-based reporting
- Fluent in Marathi and Hindi; working English
- Based near, or willing to relocate near, Sinhgad Road, Narhe, Dhayari, Katraj or Warje

NICE TO HAVE

- Experience with CRGO / CRNGO, EI laminations or motor stampings
- Lean, TPM or Kaizen exposure; ISO 9001 environment
