Role Description This is a full-time, in office Production Engineer role based in Ludhiana.

The Production

Engineer will oversee daily manufacturing activities, including monitoring production lines, optimizing workflows, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to meet output and quality targets.

Responsibilities include planning and scheduling production, troubleshooting process issues, implementing improvements, and ensuring adherence to safety and regulatory standards. The role also involves collaborating with quality control staff to maintain product consistency, preparing reports on production performance, and supporting preventive maintenance initiatives.

Engineer will work closely with supervisors and operators to drive efficiency, reduce waste, and support continuous improvement in the plant.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Production Engineering, with the ability to understand and improve manufacturing processes.
- Analytical skills to interpret production data, identify bottlenecks, and recommend practical solutions.
- Experience with Production Planning, including scheduling, resource allocation, and workflow coordination.
- Knowledge of Quality Control practices, standards, and inspection methods to maintain product reliability.
- Effective Communication skills to collaborate with operations, maintenance, and management teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Production Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing, 5S, or continuous improvement methodologies is advantageous.
- Ability to work on-site in Ludhiana, manage multiple tasks, and maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
