Product Manager – Mortgage Products

We are seeking an experienced Product Manager with a strong background in financial services to lead the end-to-end development of our mortgage-related product suite. In this role you will shape product strategy, own the roadmap, and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and external partners to deliver creative, compliant, and customer-centric mortgage solutions. You will be instrumental in defining policies, ensuring regulatory adherence, and maximising value for both the business and our customers.

Responsibilities:

1. Define and own the vision, strategy, and roadmap for mortgage loan products in alignment with company goals and market opportunities.
2. Drive the full product lifecycle—from market research and concept ideation through launch and post-launch optimisation.
3. Conduct competitive analysis and customer research to identify market gaps and inform product features, pricing, and positioning.
4. Collaborate with engineering, design, marketing, risk, and operations teams to deliver timely, high-quality product releases.
5. Develop and maintain product policies and documentation to ensure compliance with regulatory and internal standards.
6. Establish and monitor product KPIs, using data-driven insights to prioritise enhancements and drive continuous improvement.
7. Act as the voice of the customer, gathering feedback from users, sales teams, and support to refine product direction.




8. Manage stakeholder expectations, ensuring clear communication of priorities, timelines, and deliverables.
9. Lead go-to-market planning, including launch strategies, training, and enablement for sales and support teams.
10. Stay current on mortgage industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies to identify new opportunities.

Requirements:

1. 4–7 years of hands-on experience as a Product Manager, preferably within financial services or lending.
2. Demonstrated success in end-to-end product development and launch, with measurable business impact.
3. Solid understanding of mortgage loan products, underwriting processes, and associated regulatory landscape.
4. Proven expertise in policy creation or refinement to ensure compliance and operational excellence.
5. Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence at all organisational levels.
6. Data-driven mindset with proficiency in analysing product metrics and translating insights into actionable plans.
7. Exceptional communication, presentation, and documentation skills.
8. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, or a related discipline.

1. MBA or relevant postgraduate qualification.
