Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Process Engineer to manage engineering releases, product changes, SAP manufacturing data, BOM updates, process routings, and NPI launch activities. Candidates should have an Automotive/Mechanical background, with preference given to professionals who have worked on powertrain components such as pistons, piston rings, engine valves, bearings, or related engine systems.

Key Responsibilities

- Coordinate new product releases, pre-releases, and product changes through established engineering release and change-management procedures.
- Investigate GPDM notifications and create or manage PR, ERL, and EC numbers with the associated engineering records.
- Coordinate design-release activities and ensure the latest customer drawings and specifications are available to all relevant functions.
- Create and maintain SAP manufacturing master data, including part numbers, BOMs, routings, production versions, and cost collectors.
- Coordinate BOM creation and updates,



resolving discrepancies between engineering specifications, SAP data, and actual product configurations.
- Support OES BOM correction and product-configuration activities.
- Develop manufacturing process routings, target outputs, and rough-cut capacity inputs for quotations.
- Apply work-study techniques to establish standard operating times, cycle times, and cell outputs.
- Support NPI launches, manufacturing trials, process readiness, and production handover.
- Coordinate internal PPAP requests, nomination letters, and related activities with manufacturing sites.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Production, Supply Chain, Purchasing, and other stakeholders.

Mandatory Skills

- Automotive/Mechanical engineering background
- SAP manufacturing data and BOM management
- GPDM, PR, ERL, EC, ECR, or ECN process knowledge
- Engineering release and change management
- Manufacturing process planning and routing
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications
- Solid stakeholder coordination and communication skills
