Role Description The Pipeline Designer is a full-time, on-site role based in Navi Mumbai. This role involves preparing and updating pipeline layouts, route plans, alignment sheets, and detailed drawings using industry-standard CAD and design software.

The Pipeline

Designer collaborates with engineers and project managers to incorporate technical specifications, safety requirements, and construction constraints into design deliverables. Daily tasks include reviewing survey data and engineering inputs, verifying design accuracy, coordinating with other disciplines, and supporting the preparation of documentation for approvals and construction. The role also includes maintaining design standards,



participating in design reviews, and helping resolve design-related issues during project execution.

Qualifications

- Proficiency in pipeline design and drafting using CAD tools (e.g., AutoCAD, CADWorx, or similar) and familiarity with 2D/3D modeling.
- Knowledge of pipeline engineering principles, route selection, wall thickness calculations, and basic stress and flexibility considerations.
- Understanding of oil and gas industry standards, codes, and regulations relevant to onshore and/or offshore pipeline design.
- Ability to interpret P&IDs;, mechanical and civil drawings, survey data, and technical specifications to develop accurate design outputs.
- Strong attention to detail, quality-focused approach, and ability to maintain organized documentation and revision control.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with multidisciplinary teams on-site in Navi Mumbai.
- Diploma or degree in Mechanical, Civil, or related engineering discipline; prior experience in pipeline design within the oil and gas sector is preferred.
- Willingness to learn recent tools and methodologies and to support project deadlines in a fast-paced engineering environment.
