Job Title : Piping Vibration Specialist (FIV/AIV) (Mumbai Location)

Key Responsibilities

As the successful candidate you will be required to perform the following:

- Conduct the piping vibration (FIV, AIV) design and co-work with the relevant disciplines.
- Develop our procedure and assessment of piping vibration (FIV, AIV).
- Troubleshoot piping vibration problems or potential vibration risk.
- Carry out troubleshooting through vibration Measuring and data analysis at site.
- Provide technical support to the relevant disciplines to achieve the successful project.
- Provide technical solution whenever the piping vibration experience failures, utilizing soundness strategies to analyze to address and rectify the root cause in order to prevent reoccurrences.
- Have knowledge/experience for engineering of

- FIT (Flow Induced Turbulence) vibration
- SBC (Small Bore Connection) vibration
- Mechanical Excitation Propagation
- Resonance separation margin
- Pulsation excitation of branch
- Surge/Water hammering
- AIV (Acoustic Induced Vibration) assessment
- FIV (Flow Induced Vibration) assessment
- Process piping design and stress(flexibility) design

- Prepare and review specification for piping vibration.
- Prepare Job execution plan and work instructions based on the ITB requirements.




- Carry out detail risk assessment for project, proposals and discuss/coordinate with related teams for suitable counter measure.

Fully aware and updated with related piping vibration international codes and standards such as EI guidelines, ASME and ISO etc

Education :

- B.E. / B. Tech (Mechanical or other relevant disciplines) / M. Tech from reputed University / Institute

Experience :

- 15+ Year’s Experience in Oil & Gas / Refinery / Petrochemical
- Served as LE for minimum two big projects

Skills :

- ISO18436-2 Cat.2 (Cat.III or Car. VI preferred)
- Vibration Measuring and signal processing analysis
- Vibration advanced analysis such as ODS/ Magnification motion analysis
- FEM (Finite Element Method) analysis (ANSYS, Solidworks simulation etc.)
