Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and responsible Hospital Pharmacy Manager to oversee daily pharmacy operations, manage staff, maintain inventory, ensure regulatory compliance, and deliver efficient pharmaceutical services within a hospital environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day hospital pharmacy operations, including IPD/OPD pharmacy activities.
- Supervise pharmacists, pharmacy assistants, and other pharmacy staff.
- Ensure proper dispensing, billing, and timely availability of medicines.
- Monitor inventory, stock levels, expiry dates, and medicine purchases.
- Maintain records of controlled drugs, invoices, and pharmacy transactions as applicable.
- Ensure compliance with applicable pharmacy laws, drug regulations, and hospital policies.
- Coordinate with doctors, nurses, hospital administration, vendors, and the purchase department.
- Prepare duty rosters, monitor attendance, and manage staff performance.
- Minimize stock discrepancies, dispensing errors, and medicine wastage.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports.
- Handle patient queries, hospital complaints,



and pharmacy-related issues.
- Ensure proper documentation, housekeeping, and audit readiness.

Eligibility Criteria

- Qualification: B. Pharm / D. Pharm.
- Experience: 3–5 years of relevant pharmacy experience, preferably in a hospital setting.
- Valid pharmacist registration as applicable to the role.
- Strong knowledge of hospital pharmacy operations, inventory management, and drug regulations.
- Good leadership, communication, problem-solving, and team-management skills.
- Proficiency in pharmacy billing software, inventory systems, and MS Excel.
