- Clinical & Technical Responsibilities:Perform preliminary eye screening - Visual Acuity (with and without glasses), IPD measurement, Colour vision, etc.
Take patient history - chief complaints, systemic history, ocular history and family history.
- Patient Care & Counselling:Counsel patients regarding need for glasses, surgery and further investigations.
- Documentation & Records: Accurately enter all findings and history in EMR / OPD sheets.
- Daily calibration and maintenance of all OPD equipment - Auto Ref, Lensometer, Trial Set, Slit Lamp, etc.
- Coordinate with Front Office, Pharmacy, Opticals, and other departments for smooth OPD functioning.
- Follow hospital policies, NABH standards and code of conduct.
