Role Description The Owner role at Vihaan India Exports is a full-time, on-site position based in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region. The Owner will oversee overall business operations, including supplier relationship management, product sourcing, quality assurance, and export logistics.

Responsibilities include developing market strategies, expanding the client base in international markets, negotiating contracts and pricing, and ensuring compliance with export regulations and food safety standards. The role also involves managing financial performance, monitoring inventory and supply chains, guiding staff, and driving long-term growth initiatives.



The Owner will represent the company in key business negotiations, trade events, and strategic partnerships.

Qualifications

- Strong business management skills, including strategic planning, decision-making, and financial oversight.
- Experience in international trade, export documentation, and regulatory compliance, preferably in the food or spices industry.
- Proficiency in supplier and client relationship management, contract negotiation, and stakeholder communication.
- Knowledge of quality control processes, food safety standards, and product specification requirements for global markets.
- Ability to lead teams, delegate responsibilities, and maintain efficient operations in a quick-paced environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; knowledge of additional regional or international languages is an advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Commerce, International Trade, or a related field; advanced qualifications are beneficial but not mandatory.
- Prior experience as a business owner, senior manager, or leader in export, trading, or FMCG sectors is highly desirable.
