Job Summary
We are looking for a qualified Optometrist (OD) to provide remote medical consultation through live chat, supporting patients with eye health queries, vision correction procedures, and pre/post-operative guidance. The role involves delivering accurate, empathetic, and compliant medical advice in a digital healthcare environment while maintaining high quality and documentation standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide real-time medical consultation via live chat on eye health and vision-related concerns
- Guide patients on vision correction procedures such as LASIK, SMILE,
and other refractive treatments
- Offer pre-operative and post-operative care instructions
- Identify high-risk or urgent cases and escalate as per defined SOPs • Document patient interactions accurately in internal systems
- Follow clinical protocols, quality benchmarks, and performance metrics • Always maintain patient confidentiality and data privacy
Qualifications & Skills
- B.Optom or equivalent degree in Optometry
- Valid registration / certification as applicable
- Solid written communication skills in English
- Comfortable working in a chat-based consultation model
- Ability to handle multiple patient conversations efficiently
- Willingness to work rotational shifts including night shifts
