Purpose/Objective

The Product Manager – Business SME will act as a critical bridge between business stakeholders and the Industry Cloud product engineering team.

This role requires deep business domain understanding combined with strong product thinking to translate complex business requirements into scalable digital solutions.

The ideal candidate will connect the physical asset-driven business setting with the digital platform ecosystem, ensuring that Industry Cloud products are aligned with operational realities and strategic priorities

Key Responsibilities of Role

Associate Product Manager - IC 1.

Business Understanding & Requirement Translation - Should have hands-on & deep expertise in specific business like Thermal, Transmission, Renewables, Gas, Ports etc - Understand operational workflows, KPIs, asset lifecycle, and pain points.

- Convert Business Requirement Documents (BRD) into clear, structured Product Requirement Documents (PRD).
- Define use cases, user journeys, acceptance criteria, and success metrics.

Product Roadmap & Strategy - Actively contribute to defining and prioritizing the product roadmap.

- Align roadmap with business strategy and operational priorities.
- Identify opportunities to leverage data for operational optimization and strategic insights.
- Ensure scalability and reusability of solutions across multiple group businesses.
- Ability to act as a business analyst in making data to talk the business language.

Stakeholder Management - Serve as the primary interface between:- Business CEOs, CXOs, and SPOCs - Operations and functional heads - Industry Cloud Product Engineering teams - Drive structured discussions to clarify requirements and resolve conflicts.





- Manage expectations on scope, timelines, and deliverables.
- Ensure leadership alignment through regular updates and reviews.

Product Development Lifecycle Participation - Collaborate with engineering teams during design, development, testing, and rollout.

- Participate in sprint planning, backlog prioritization, and UAT.
- Ensure delivered solutions meet defined business outcomes.
- Support change management and adoption within business units.

Data & Insight Enablement - Identify critical operational KPIs and metrics.

- Enable data-driven dashboards and analytics capabilities.
- Ensure digital solutions generate actionable insights for strategic decision-making.

Qualifications and Experience

Educational Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field.

Work Experience (Range of years): - 8–15 years of experience in:- Business operations / domain leadership - Experience working in digital transformation or enterprise platforms is desirable.

- Exposure to large-scale asset monitoring systems, IoT platforms, or data platforms is a plus.
