Key Responsibilities of Role
1) Strategic Leadership and Coordination: • Lead the development and implementation of long-term strategies for operations and maintenance activities across multiple sites.
- Establish and enforce standardized practices and procedures to drive operational excellence and efficiency.
- Develop and manage the O&M; budget, ensuring optimal resource allocation and cost-effective operations.
- Foster a culture of innovation, encouraging the adoption of new technologies and practices to enhance operational capabilities.
- Set performance targets and key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and improve operational effectiveness.
2) Annuity Management and Client Coordination: • Oversee the receipt and management of annuity payments from the government, ensuring compliance with performance metrics to secure timely payments.
- Focus on meeting performance indicators set by the government to ensure annuity payments and avoid penalties.
- Act as the primary liaison with clients (NHAI),
ensuring compliance with contractual obligations and timely resolution of any operational issues.
3) O&M; Monitoring: • Monitor the performance of all O&M; activities, ensuring adherence to quality standards and timelines.
- Conduct regular reviews and audits to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Develop and utilize performance dashboards and reports to track operational metrics and drive decision-making.
- Ensure that all operations comply with safety regulations, industry standards, and contractual obligations.
- Implement robust risk management practices to mitigate operational risks and ensure business continuity.
4) Continuous Improvement and Innovation: • Drive initiatives for continuous improvement in O&M; practices, processes, and technological solutions.
- Promote innovation and the adoption of technology and best practices to enhance operational efficiency and sustainability.
- Supervise and mentor site leads, promoting a cooperative and high-performance work environment.
