Job Title: Lift / Elevator Technician

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and safety-focused Lift Technician to install, service, maintain, and repair elevators, escalators, and related lifting equipment. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical and electrical knowledge, can troubleshoot efficiently, and is committed to meeting safety and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

Install, maintain, and repair lifts, elevators, escalators, and related equipment

Perform routine inspections, servicing, and preventive maintenance

Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and control system faults

Respond promptly to breakdowns and emergency call-outs

Replace or repair defective components and test systems after repairs

Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and industry standards

Maintain accurate service reports, maintenance logs, and inspection records

Communicate clearly with clients, supervisors, and other technicians

Support modernization and upgrade projects when required

Requirements & Qualifications

Diploma, trade certification, or apprenticeship in electrical, mechanical, or electromechanical engineering





Proven experience as a Lift/Elevator Technician or similar role

Strong knowledge of lift control systems, motors, hydraulics, and safety devices

Ability to read technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and manuals

Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Physically fit and comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces

Valid technical license or certification (as required by local regulations)

Ability to work independently and as part of a team
