Skills and experience

Candidates must combine solid LAN/Wi-Fi networking knowledge with hands-on experience building monitoring, data and analytics solutions at enterprise scale.

Essential

- 8+ years in enterprise networking, with 4+ years in network monitoring, telemetry, observability or automation across large multi-site environments.
- Strong understanding of LAN/Wi-Fi technologies and network behaviour, including switching, routing, RF, roaming, 802.1X and RADIUS.
- Hands-on expertise with network telemetry and data sources including SNMP, Syslog, NetFlow/IPFIX, streaming telemetry (gNMI/YANG) and REST APIs.
- Experience with network monitoring, observability and assurance platforms such as SevOne, SolarWinds, Splunk,



Grafana/Prometheus, ThousandEyes, Cisco Catalyst Center, Aruba Central or Juniper Mist.
- Strong capability in event correlation, alert management, noise reduction, anomaly detection and ITSM integration such as ServiceNow.
- Proficient in Python-based automation, with experience in Ansible/PowerShell/Go, APIs, JSON and data-processing pipelines.
- Ability to develop operational and executive dashboards, health scores, KPI/SLA reporting and network performance analytics.
- Experience automating monitoring, reporting, data collection and remediation workflows to improve operational efficiency and proactive network assurance.

Certifications

Candidates need one skilled-level networking certification; observability, automation and ITIL certifications strengthen the profile.
