Technical Architect – .NET, Cloud & Microservices

ROLE OVERVIEW

We are looking for an experienced Technical Architect with strong expertise in full-stack software development, solution architecture, and project delivery. The ideal candidate will be responsible for translating business requirements into scalable, secure, and high-performance technical solutions, leading architecture and design activities, and coordinating development and implementation across teams.

The role requires hands-on expertise in .NET technologies, version migrations, microservices, API integrations, cloud platforms, databases, and enterprise application development, with the ability to manage technical delivery, stakeholder expectations, project timelines, and resource planning.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Analyze business and application requirements and translate them into technical specifications, solution blueprints, and architecture designs.
- Design scalable, resilient, secure, and high-performance enterprise applications using .NET Core, ASP.NET MVC, Web API, and microservices architecture.
- Lead architecture assessments, technology evaluations, integration design, and implementation planning for complex software systems.
- Provide technical leadership across application development, code quality, reusable components, troubleshooting, and deployment activities.
- Design and implement REST APIs, web services, messaging-based integrations, and distributed application components.
- Define application integration patterns using Azure Service Bus, Azure Functions, Azure Event Grid, API Gateway, and other relevant cloud services.
- Design and support containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Guide database design, query optimization, caching strategies, and data access implementation using SQL Server, Oracle, MongoDB, and PostgreSQL.
- Oversee application performance analysis, capacity considerations, troubleshooting, and optimization of CPU, memory, threads, and web server resources.
- Drive application security practices, vulnerability assessment, penetration-testing findings resolution,



and secure coding implementation.
- Coordinate with business stakeholders, clients, architects, developers, QA teams, and DevOps teams to ensure effective requirement mapping and solution delivery.
- Manage project scope, effort estimation, technology and resource planning, delivery schedules, and implementation dependencies.
- Monitor project progress against agreed timelines and budgets, conduct technical and delivery reviews, and address risks and issues proactively.
- Support CI/CD, build management, code versioning, release planning, and deployment using appropriate DevOps practices.
- Provide technical guidance and mentoring to development teams while fostering engineering excellence and continuous improvement.
- Contribute to client discussions, solution presentations, technical estimations, and delivery planning.

TECHNICAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

- Programming & Frameworks: C#, .NET Core 8, .NET Framework 4.8, ASP.NET, ASP.NET MVC, ADO.NET, LINQ, Entity Framework, WCF, REST APIs, Web API, and microservices.
- Frontend & CMS: JavaScript, jQuery, ASP.NET-based applications, and EpiServer/Optimizely CMS.
- Cloud Platforms: Microsoft Azure, including Azure App Services, Azure Functions, Azure Service Bus, Azure Event Grid, Logic Apps, and API Gateway.
- Containers & Orchestration: Docker and Kubernetes.
- Databases: Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, MongoDB, and PostgreSQL.
- Architecture & Integration: Distributed systems, three-tier architecture, asynchronous programming, messaging queues, API integration, caching, and enterprise application integration.
- Performance & Security: Application performance monitoring, IIS diagnostics, memory and thread analysis, debugging,



penetration testing, and vulnerability remediation.
- DevOps & Version Control: CI/CD, build and release management, Git, SVN, and TFS.

DOMAIN EXPERIENCE

- Travel & Hospitality: Airline booking engines, Global Distribution Systems (GDS), passenger systems, and cruise booking solutions.
- Airport Solutions: Self-service check-in kiosks, baggage drop systems, and DigiYatra kiosk enrolment solutions.
- Telecommunications: Billing integrations, carrier integrations, and customer-facing storefront applications.
- Digital Platforms: Content management systems, e-book storefronts, online content delivery, and enterprise web applications.

EDUCATION & CERTIFICATIONS

- Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
- Relevant cloud architecture certifications are desirable, such as:
- Microsoft Certified Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305).

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

- 12–16+ years of experience in software development, solution architecture, and technical delivery.
- Robust hands-on experience with .NET-based enterprise application development, migration, Version Upgrade and integration.
- Demonstrated experience designing and implementing scalable, secure, and resilient application architectures.
- Experience working with cloud platforms, distributed systems, APIs, databases, and DevOps practices.
- Proven ability to coordinate technical teams, engage with clients, manage delivery dependencies, and drive projects to completion.
