Requisition Description:

We are hiring an MIS Executive – Inventory & Sales Operations to manage inventory control, stock audits, sales order management, and operational MIS reporting. The role is responsible for ensuring inventory accuracy, reviewing audit reports, posting stock movement and scrapping entries, monitoring sales order execution, and preparing analytical reports such as Non/Slow Moving Inventory, SO vs Billing, Billing vs Dispatch, and Dispatch vs Delivery. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills, hands-on experience with ERP/SAP, advanced MS Excel knowledge, and the ability to coordinate effectively with Sales, Warehouse, Logistics, and Finance teams to ensure smooth business operations.

Key Responsibilities

Inventory & Stock Management

- Conduct periodic stock audits and reconcile physical inventory with system records.
- Review audit reports and ensure timely closure of audit observations.
- Post inventory adjustment entries related to stock variances, internal movements, and scrapping.
- Monitor stock movement across warehouses and branches to ensure accurate inventory records.
- Prepare and analyze Non-Moving and Slow-Moving Inventory reports and recommend corrective actions.

Sales Order & Billing Operations

- Manage end-to-end Sales Order (SO) processing and tracking.
- Monitor Sales Order vs Billing, Billing vs Dispatch, and Dispatch vs Delivery reports to identify pending transactions and bottlenecks.
- Coordinate with Sales, Warehouse, Logistics, and Finance teams for timely order execution and issue resolution.




- Ensure data accuracy in ERP/SAP and maintain operational compliance.

MIS & Reporting

- Generate daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports related to inventory, sales, dispatch, billing, and delivery performance.
- Analyze operational data to identify trends, exceptions, and improvement opportunities.
- Maintain dashboards and reports to support management decision-making.
- Ensure timely submission of reports with complete accuracy.

Process Improvement

- Support inventory control initiatives and process standardization.
- Identify process gaps and recommend improvements for operational efficiency.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, SOPs, and audit requirements.

Required Skills & Competencies

- Solid knowledge of Inventory Management and Stock Reconciliation.
- Experience in Sales Order Management and Order-to-Dispatch processes.
- Good understanding of Stock Audit and Audit Report Analysis.
- Knowledge of Internal Stock Movement and Scrap Management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Power Query preferred).
- Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.

Qualification

- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- MBA or PGDM will be an added advantage.

Experience

- 2–5 years of experience in MIS, Inventory Management, Commercial Operations, or Supply Chain.
- Experience in manufacturing, FMCG, consumer durables, or distribution-based organizations is preferred.
