Position Duties and Responsibilities AISC teachers are responsible for ensuring that all instructional and assessment practices, curriculum development, classroom management, and skilled growth align with and contribute to the School s Mission, Core Values, and Vision for the AISC Learner. Middle School teachers act as an advisor and also chaperone the Middle School Week Without Walls trip.

Design and deliver a rigorous and engaging Social Studies and English Language Arts curriculum that incorporates inquiry, personalized instruction, and differentiation. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in developing and supporting Social Studies and English Language Arts courses at Grades 6-8 level, fostering student understanding through relevant, age-appropriate, and interdisciplinary learning experiences. A strong background in project-based learning (PBL) and curriculum design that connects concepts across disciplines is highly desirable, with the ability to cultivate curiosity, critical thinking, and real-world application.
