Speedways Rubber Company (Speedways Tyres), a leading player in the tire industry, is seeking Mechanical Manager to manage the maintenance function of the Division A of the unit, ensuring maximum equipment availability, operational efficiency, and adherence to safety standards, thereby supporting continuous production in the tire manufacturing process.

Key Responsibilities (not limited to):

- Develop and implement preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance schedules for all mechanical equipment in the Mixing Department (mixers, conveyors, batch-off units, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, etc.) and other sections under Division A.
- Ensure timely completion of maintenance activities to avoid production interruptions.
- Optimize maintenance processes to improve machine reliability and efficiency.
- Lead troubleshooting and root cause analysis of breakdowns to implement permanent corrective actions.
- Ensure quick response and minimal downtime during equipment failures.
- Manage and guide a team of engineers, supervisors, technicians, and fitters.
- Assign tasks, monitor performance, and provide training to enhance technical skills and safety awareness.




- Monitor machine performance metrics and initiate improvements to enhance productivity and reduce maintenance costs.
- Maintain optimal stock levels of critical spare parts, tools, and consumables.
- Ensure all maintenance activities comply with statutory, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Conduct regular safety audits, risk assessments, and implement hazard elimination measures.
- Maintain updated maintenance records, equipment history cards, and SOPs.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on downtime, maintenance costs, and KPIs.

Eligibility:

- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. Diploma holder can also apply.
- 5-6 years of experience in a relevant engineering role, in the Division A of a tire industry only.
- Technical Knowledge of Operation & maintenance of Banbury/Intermix mixers, conveyors, batch-off units, dust collection systems, hydraulic & pneumatic systems.
- Familiarity with PLC-controlled systems and automation.
- Proficiency in reading engineering drawings and maintenance software
- Robust analytical, problem-solving and team leading skills.
