Role Description: This part time, on-site role of Marketing Faculty – Assistant Professor (Amity Global Business School) is based in the Greater Bengaluru Area. The faculty member will design and deliver marketing courses at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, using contemporary pedagogy and industry-focused curricula. Daily responsibilities include preparing lesson plans, conducting lectures, leading discussions, mentoring students, and evaluating assignments, projects, and examinations.

The role involves engaging in applied and academic research, contributing to curriculum development, and integrating current industry trends and digital marketing practices into teaching. The faculty member will participate in academic administration, student support activities, and departmental initiatives that enhance the overall learning experience and industry engagement.

Qualifications

- Strong communication skills, including the ability to explain marketing concepts clearly and facilitate interactive classroom discussions.
- Experience in education and teaching,



preferably at the higher education level in marketing, management, or related disciplines.
- Research skills to conduct academic and applied studies, publish in relevant journals, and integrate findings into teaching.
- Administrative assistance capabilities to support academic processes such as course planning, assessment, record-keeping, and coordination of academic events.
- Customer service orientation to provide responsive student support, academic counseling, and constructive feedback.
- Master’s degree or higher in Marketing, Management, or a closely related field; a PhD or enrollment in a doctoral program is an advantage.
- Industry exposure in marketing or business, with familiarity in contemporary areas such as digital marketing, branding, consumer behavior, and analytics.
- Ability to work collaboratively with faculty and staff, uphold academic integrity, and contribute to a diverse and inclusive learning environment.
