Sansera Engineering is seeking a highly skilled Manager Purchase to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing purchasing strategies to optimize procurement processes and ensure cost-effective sourcing of materials. This role involves collaboration with various departments to forecast demand, manage supplier relationships, and negotiate contracts.
The Manager
Purchase will also be tasked with maintaining accurate inventory levels, analyzing market trends, and implementing best practices in supply chain management.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute purchasing strategies to align with company goals
- Collaborate with PPC, production and engineering teams to understand material requirements for Raw materials to consumables including required hazardous and non hazardous materials
Store and ware house operations management from GRN till issuing to production and dispatch FG .
- Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, conducting audits and assessments
- Negotiate contracts and agreements to secure favorable terms and conditions
- Monitor supplier performance and manage relationships to ensure quality and reliability
- Analyze market trends and adjust purchasing strategies accordingly mainly for Aluminium, steel, inconel and titanium
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and inventory levels
- Implement cost-saving initiatives and evaluate the effectiveness of procurement processes
Outsource activities for many preparatory operations
Skills and Tools Required
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency in procurement software and inventory management systems
- Knowledge of supply chain management principles
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with ISO standards and quality assurance processes
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel for data analysis
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management
- Previous experience in a managerial role is preferred
- Industry-specific experience in engineering or manufacturing is a plus
