Role Summary:

We are looking for an experienced IT qualified to lIT Asset Management (ITAM), CMDB Governance, and Vendor Management within a large enterprise / BFSI environment.

The role will drive governance, operational excellence, compliance, configuration management, asset lifecycle controls, vendor performance, and ServiceNow-based process maturity aligned with ITIL, Audit, Security, and Regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

1. IT Asset Management

· Develop and implement enterprise IT Asset Management policies, standards, and governance frameworks.

· Manage complete lifecycle of IT assets:

o Procurement o Allocation / Deployment o Tracking o Maintenance o Refresh / Retirement o Disposal

· Maintain accurate records of hardware, software, licenses, and non-IT assets.

· Drive license compliance, optimization, and cost management initiatives.

· Coordinate with Procurement, Finance, Security, and Infrastructure teams for asset governance and controls.

· Perform periodic audits, reconciliation, and asset validation exercises.

2. CMDB & Configuration Management

· Own and govern CMDB (Configuration Management Database) processes and data quality.

· Manage CMDB, Discovery, and Configuration Management processes.

· Maintain configuration item (CI) accuracy, ownership, relationships, and lifecycle governance.

· Ensure reconciliation of data from multiple enterprise systems and discovery sources.

· Monitor dashboards, identify duplicates, resolve inconsistencies, and improve CMDB health metrics.

· Implement CMDB governance aligned with ITIL, Audit, Security, and Regulatory standards.

· Drive CMDB maturity and automation initiatives.

3. Vendor & Contract Governance

· Manage strategic technology vendors, OEMs, and managed service providers.





· Establish vendor onboarding, evaluation, and governance frameworks.

· Negotiate contracts, commercials, SLAs, and renewal discussions.

· Monitor vendor performance against KPIs, SLAs, and contractual commitments.

· Conduct governance reviews, risk assessments, and vendor scorecard evaluations.

· Drive issue escalations and ensure timely closure of vendor-related operational challenges.

4. Audit, Risk & Compliance

· Ensure adherence to BFSI regulatory expectations, internal audit controls, and IT governance standards.

· Support Internal Audit, External Audit, Risk, and Compliance assessments.

· Maintain evidence, documentation, SOPs, and operational control records.

· Track and close audit observations and risk remediation actions.

· Ensure alignment with Information Security, Risk, and Compliance requirements.

5. Reporting & Stakeholder Management

· Prepare MIS dashboards, KPI reports, governance packs, and executive presentations.

· Present operational metrics and compliance updates to senior leadership.

· Engage with business, technology, risk, audit, and vendor stakeholders.

· Drive operational excellence, automation, and service improvement programs.
