Role Description The Manager – Freight Forwarding (Documentation, Sales, and Pricing) is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai.

The Documentation

Manager will oversee accurate preparation, verification, and submission of import and export documentation, coordinate with carriers and customs agents, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

The Sales

Manager will identify and develop new business opportunities, build and maintain customer relationships, prepare proposals, and collaborate with operations to provide service solutions that meet client needs.

The Pricing

Manager will analyze market rates, prepare competitive freight quotations, negotiate with shipping lines and other vendors, and maintain updated pricing databases.



All three managers will work closely with internal teams to ensure timely shipments, strong customer satisfaction, and alignment with company performance targets.

Qualifications

- Strong Customer Service skills, including client communication, issue resolution, and relationship management.
- Hands-on experience with Ocean freight operations, including carrier coordination and route planning.
- Practical knowledge of Freight forwarding processes, including documentation, sales, and pricing activities.
- Experience managing Import and Export shipments, with understanding of trade regulations and compliance.
- Relevant experience in freight forwarding or logistics management; prior leadership or supervisory experience is an advantage.
- Ability to analyze rates and margins, prepare accurate quotations, and work with data to support pricing decisions.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
- Proficiency in common office and logistics-related software; familiarity with freight forwarding systems is beneficial.
- Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain, business, or a related field preferred.
- Ability to work on-site in Mumbai and collaborate effectively with local and international teams.
