Manager - F&A;

1. Costing Responsibilities

- Standard Costing & Variance Analysis:
- Establish and update standard costs for raw materials, WIP, and finished goods.

- Analyze cost variances (material, labor, overhead) and highlight deviations.

- Product Costing

- Prepare detailed product costing sheets for recent and existing products.

- Support pricing decisions with cost-based analysis.

- Cost Allocation & Control:

- Allocate overheads accurately across departments or cost centers.

- Identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend improvements.

- Inventory Valuation

- Ensure accurate inventory valuation as per accounting standards.

- Coordinate with stores and production for monthly stock reconciliations.

? 2. Expense Loading Responsibilities

- Expense Allocation:
- Monitor and allocate direct and indirect expenses to appropriate cost centers.

- Accruals and Provisions

- Ensure timely accounting of expense accruals and provisions at period end.

- Budget Monitoring

- Track actual expenses vs. budget; flag significant variances.

- Cost Monitoring

- Regular review of utility costs, travel,



admin expenses, etc.

- Prepare MIS reports for management review.

? 3. Purchase Booking Responsibilities

- Vendor Invoice Processing:
- Review and book purchase invoices in compliance with PO, GRN, and tax norms.

- 3-Way Matching:

- Ensure invoice-Purchase Order-Goods Receipt Note (GRN) matching before booking.

- Tax Compliance

- Ensure GST, TDS, and other statutory compliances are followed during purchase booking.

- Accounts Payable Management

- Coordinate with vendors for timely submission of bills.

- Support payments team in processing due payments.

? General F&A; Support Responsibilities

- Audit Support:
- Assist in statutory, internal, and cost audits.

- Provide required documentation and reconciliations.

- ERP System Usage

- Proficient in using ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Tally, etc.) for accounting entries and reporting.

- Reporting

- Prepare regular financial and management reports related to costing and expenses.
