Role Description The Maintenance Supervisor is a full-time, in office role based at The Fern Residency in Vijayapura. This role is responsible for overseeing daily maintenance operations across guest rooms, public areas, back-of-house facilities, and equipment to ensure safety, functionality, and cleanliness. Key tasks include planning and executing preventive maintenance schedules, assigning and monitoring maintenance and repair work, and coordinating with vendors for specialized services.

The Maintenance

Supervisor will diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues, maintain records of maintenance activities, and ensure compliance with hotel standards and regulatory requirements.



The role also involves guiding and training maintenance team members, promoting safe work practices, and supporting seamless hotel operations.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Supervisory Skills, including team leadership, task allocation, and performance monitoring.
- Candidates should possess Equipment Maintenance and Preventive Maintenance skills to ensure reliable operation of hotel systems and facilities.
- Candidates should possess Maintenance & Repair and Troubleshooting skills for resolving electrical, mechanical, and plumbing issues efficiently.
- Relevant experience in hotel or facility maintenance, with knowledge of safety standards, basic HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems.
- Ability to read and follow technical manuals, maintenance plans, and work orders, with attention to detail and time management.
- Effective communication skills for coordinating with internal departments and external service providers.
- Diploma or certification in engineering, facility management, or a related technical field is preferred.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as per operational requirements.
