SMS Associates is inviting applications from passionate, dedicated, and detail-oriented law students to join our team as Legal Interns.

This internship offers hands-on exposure to legal practice, with opportunities to assist in ongoing matters, work on legal documentation, conduct research, and understand the practical functioning of a law firm.

What You'll Do

- Conduct legal research to support ongoing cases, legal opinions, and litigation strategies.
- Assist in drafting, reviewing, and formatting legal documents, contracts, notices, petitions, and other pleadings.
- Support lawyers in litigation-related work, case preparation, and court proceedings, where required.
- Assist with legal documentation, case analysis, and preparation of briefs.
- Research applicable laws, judgments, and legal precedents across different practice areas.
- Assist the team with client-related work and other legal assignments.

Internship Details

Location: Panchsheel Plaza, Gamdevi, Charni Road, Mumbai

Work Mode: Strictly Onsite at our Mumbai office. This is not a work-from-home or remote internship.

Duration: Minimum 2 months (Looking for Long Term)

Eligibility: Law students, preferably in their 3rd to 5th year

Stipend: Unpaid for the first 3 months. Any stipend thereafter, if applicable, will be communicated separately.
