We are looking for a skilled and experienced Leather Dyeing Technician to join our leather manufacturing team.

The ideal candidate should have strong technical knowledge of leather dyeing processes, colour matching, dye and chemical formulations, and quality control. The candidate will be responsible for achieving consistent colour shades, maintaining leather quality, and ensuring effective production processes.

Key Responsibilities

- Carry out leather dyeing operations according to production requirements and quality standards.
- Prepare and adjust dye formulations to achieve accurate colour shades.
- Perform colour matching and shade correction based on customer samples and specifications.
- Monitor and control dyeing parameters, including temperature, pH, processing time, and chemical dosage.
- Ensure colour uniformity, consistency, and proper dye penetration across production batches.
- Identify and troubleshoot dyeing defects, shade variations, and other technical issues.
- Conduct laboratory dyeing trials and scale up approved recipes for bulk production.
- Maintain accurate records of dye formulations, chemical consumption, and production batches.
- Coordinate with production and quality control teams to meet quality and delivery requirements.
- Ensure the safe handling, storage, and usage of dyes and chemicals.
- Work towards reducing chemical wastage, reprocessing, and production costs.





Required Skills & Qualifications

- Minimum 5-8 years of hands-on experience in leather dyeing within a tannery or leather manufacturing facility.
- Strong knowledge of leather dyes, chemicals, dyeing techniques, and colour matching.
- Experience in operating leather dyeing drums and handling bulk production batches.
- Ability to independently prepare dye recipes and perform shade corrections.
- Good understanding of leather properties and different leather types.
- Knowledge of wet-end processing, retanning, and fatliquoring will be an advantage.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and quality consciousness.
- ITI, Diploma, or technical qualification in Leather Technology or Chemical Technology is preferred. Candidates with relevant practical experience are also encouraged to apply.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
