Job Title: Business Analyst + QA

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Business Analyst + QA skilled to bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions in the banking sector. The ideal candidate will lead requirements gathering, translate complex business needs into actionable documentation, and ensure quality assurance throughout the software development lifecycle.

Responsibilities

- Lead requirements gathering workshops, interviews, and brainstorming sessions with business executives, product owners, and technical architects.
- Translate complex banking business needs into detailed Business Requirements Documents (BRD), Functional Requirement Specifications (FRS), user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Collaborate with QA engineers to design end-to-end Test Strategies, Test Plans, and test scenarios aligned with business logic.
- Review, create, validate, and sign off on test cases, ensuring edge cases and compliance/regulatory scenarios are fully covered.
- Actively participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) execution, defect triaging, priority management, and root-cause analysis.




- Conduct exploratory testing and functional verification to ensure system builds strictly meet acceptance criteria before user rollout.
- Serve as a key contributor across all phases of the SDLC (Agile/Scrum, Waterfall, or Hybrid frameworks).
- Act as the primary liaison between business units (Operations, Compliance, Risk, Front Office) and engineering teams.

Mandatory Skills

- JIRA & Confluence: Good experience with JIRA & Confluence.
- Business Analysis: Excellent proficiency in business analysis.
- Communication: Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients and teams.
- Banking - Corporate Banking: Excellent understanding of corporate banking.

Preferred Skills

- Commercial Lending: Familiarity with commercial lending processes.

Qualifications Relevant experience in business analysis and quality assurance within the banking sector is essential. A strong understanding of both business and technical aspects is required to effectively communicate and deliver solutions.
